A public health message about mosquitoes from Northern Territory Health [in English and Yolngu Matha]
Darwin, NT: Northern Territory Government

These short videos were produced to advise Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people living in the Northern Territory (NT) on how to protect themselves from mosquitoes.

The videos are easy to understand, and talk about the importance of:

  • wearing long protective clothes
  • using mosquito repellents and sprays
  • keeping away from areas where mosquitoes could bite, at both dusk and dawn
  • tipping out anything that could hold stagnant water.

They were produced by the NT Government, Department of Health, and are available in both English and Yolngu Matha.
