The Australian Indigenous Doctors’ Association (AIDA) has a new website for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander primary school students which encourages them to consider a career in medicine or health. The culturally-safe and interactive site allows Indigenous children to find out more about what is involved in studying medicine. The website has many features including:

  • information on becoming a doctor
  • what subjects to study at school to become a doctor
  • health information about different parts of the body
  • online games
  • a virtual doctor’s office
  • links to other websites
  • AIDA community events
