Indigenous Australians run the 42km New York City Marathon

Juan Darwin, Joseph Davies, Charlie Maher and Caleb Hart have run a 42km marathon in New York City. The four Indigenous men from remote communities in Western Australia and the Northern Territory, have participated in the Indigenous Marathon Project, supported by Australian marathon champion, Rob de Castella. The project aims to promote healthy lifestyles and raise money and awareness of cardiovascular disease and other chronic illnesses.
