The Indigenous Higher Education Advisory Council (IHEAC) is holding a conference to enable Indigenous PhD and professional doctorate graduates to contribute to the current Review of Indigenous higher education.

The IHEAC, which provides policy advice to government and has successfully placed Indigenous higher education on the national agenda, is committed to building stronger futures for Indigenous people by continuing to improve the participation and success of Indigenous people at all levels in Australian universities.

An invitation is being extended to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander PhD and professional doctorate graduates to attend. The conference will be held in Canberra 7-8 November 2011.
