The Kari Aboriginal Resources Inc (KARI) website includes information about the organisation, its programs and events. KARI was established as a not-for-profit community organisation in Liverpool in Sydney’s South West, to address the needs of Aboriginal communities within the region. It provides an Aboriginal out-of-home care program, coordinating the delivery of a full case management model to Indigenous children and young people in care. The organisation recruits, trains and supports Indigenous people in the foster care role and provides placement opportunities for Indigenous children and youth aged 0-18 years for medium, long term or respite care. The website also gives details about the KARI clinic which provides various assessments for the health and development of the children and young people who enter the out-of-home care program.

The organisation coordinates programs and initiatives that are culturally significant, create opportunity and benefit Indigenous people and the community. Many programs are educational focused, support families or community unity. Kari provides an advocacy support role to the Indigenous community to ensure they are assisted in an appropriate manner. KARI promotes local Indigenous culture, history and values through the coordination or participation in community events, service promotion, service literature and service delivery. Event details are provided on the website.
