Provided there’s transport: transport as a barrier to accessing health care in NSW
Sydney: Council of Social Service of New South Wales

This report records the current and ongoing issues faced by the NSW health transport system. The evidence for the report stems from investigations into the delivery of health transport services with a particular focus on the outcomes of the 2012 Health transport workshops conducted in NSW. Recommendations to address the issues raised are included. It is well documented the transport disadvantage Aboriginal people experience when accessing health services. This report considers the issues faced by Aboriginal people with particular attention given to the Aboriginal perspective in the final section.
