This is the fourth and final report for the audit undertaken on the implementation of the NSW interagency plan to tackle child sexual assault in Aboriginal communities. The audit was conducted by the New South Wales Ombudsman. The report outlines the findings and recommendations of the audit with specific information on:

  • building strong and safe communities
  • responding to victims
  • responding to high-risk young people
  • managing child sex offenders in the community
  • investing in education and employment
  • place-based service delivery
  • ongoing accountability.
