This is the final report of the Moving forward national consultation project conducted in 2001-2002. The project sought the opinions of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Island people about the Public Interest Advocacy Centre’s proposal for a Stolen Generations Reparations Tribunal. This proposal was for a stolen generations reparations tribunal to provide full reparations for forcible removal of Indigenous children.
The report discusses the views of the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people that took part in the consultations about reparations and presents the Reparations Tribunal model developed from the consultation project.
