This 26-minute video is intended for clinicians and health workers who give intramuscular (IM) Bicillin LA injections to prevent acute rheumatic fever.

The video provides an overview of the different injection sites for Bicillin LA, as well as techniques and strategies that may help minimise the pain, stress and inconvenience for people with a history of acute rheumatic fever or rheumatic heart disease. The video is a collaboration between Queensland rheumatic heart disease control program and RHDAustralia, and is available online for either download or streaming.
