Strong and Deadly Futures: program preview
Sydney, NSW: The Matilda Institute

This 0:42 second video features a short preview of the Strong & Deadly Futures program, developed by The Matilda Centre for Mental Health and Substance Use (The Matilda Centre).

It is the first school-based alcohol and drug prevention program for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander secondary students that is culturally inclusive, incorporates cultural strengths and focuses on the empowerment of the students.

The video was developed with and for teachers and Indigenous and non-Indigenous Year 7 and 8 students. The program combines illustrated storylines with interactive classroom activities.
