This report provides information on what works, what does not work, and what information is missing on the social and economic determinants of Indigenous health. It provides information on a number of social and economic determinants, including:

  • education
  • connection to family, community, country, and culture
  • employment and income
  • housing
  • racism
  • interactions with government systems
  • criminal justice system
  • health behaviours.

This report provides information on policies, and programs and projects relating to the social determinants of Indigenous health that provide concrete examples of ‘what works’.
