Why Warriors Pty Ltd have launched a new website to give anyone interested in their work a more exciting and informative experience of who the organisation is and what they do.

Why Warriors was founded by Richard Trudgen, author of Why Warriors Lie Down and Die, and his son Tim. The primary goals of the organisation are to assist the capacity of the Yolngu people of Arnhem Land in the Northern Territory and to improve the effectiveness of mainstream engagement with remote Aboriginal communities.

Activities include:

  • Arnhem human enterprise development project (AHED)
  • Yolngu radio programs including health, drugs and alcohol, and economic development
  • Hope for health – lifestyle change and health coaching
  • cross-cultural training.
