The Public Health Association Australia (PHAA) 44th Annual Conference & 20th Chronic Diseases Network Conference was held in Alice Springs, Northern Territory, in September 2016. The theme of the 2016 conference was Protection, prevention, promotion, Healthy futures: chronic conditions and public health. The three-day conference included an Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander health stream.
