Current topicIndigenous Affairs Minister Jenny Macklin announced the establishment of the National Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Women’s Alliance during her opening address at Straight Talk 2010, which is a gathering of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander women. The alliance will work closely with the national representative body for Indigenous people which will be formed early next year.
