Standards for Indigenous Health Practitioners have been established by the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Health Practice Board of Australia.

The Indigenous Eye Health Unit at the University of Melbourne have released the full report of Roadmap to close the gap for vision, the first comprehensive framework that aims to ‘close the gap’ on Indigenous eye health.
