This report highlights the progress and future of the ‘a fairer Victoria’ action plan. The action plan has been developed to adress the economic, academic and social issues inherent to the identified disadvantaged groups in the state of Victoria through the improvement of their economic and social wellbeing. Four priority areas are identified, including: support for children in their early years and for families most at risk; development of education and vocation; reducing health inequalities; promoting wellbeing; and strengthening neighbourhoods and local communities.
