AMRRIC 2011 conference proceedings.

The theme of this conference was Upwards and onwards. There was a main body of lectures on central animal control and regulation business at staff, management and policy levels in local government. This was supported by supplementary lectures that reflected the larger social environment in which animal control and regulation operates.
The conference themes included:
- animal welfare aspects and interactions in animal management
- animal behaviour and how it affects animal management
- sociological aspects relating to pets, people and community
- business management themes involved in animal management service delivery.
