The Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Mental Health website has been developed by The Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Psychiatrists (RANZCP), in collaboration with Beyondblue: the national depression initiative. The project was developed with the assistance of a reference group including Beyondblue and key stakeholders and representatives from other professional organisations; and through community consultations across Australia.

This website attempts to integrate the many factors that influence the mental health of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander populations of Australia. The core content builds on the theoretical material contained in the NSW Institute of Psychiatry Indigenous Mental Health postgraduate psychiatry course. Included are training modules to support mental health professionals throughout Australia in their work with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.
