BreastScreen Australia monitoring report 2014-2015

This annual report presents data on BreastScreen Australia and breast cancer in Australia. It includes the latest national data available for women aged 50–74, including data for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander women.

The report presents data against the following eight BreastScreen Australia performance indicators:

  • participation
  • rescreening
  • recall to assessment
  • invasive breast cancer detection
  • ductal carcinoma in situ detection
  • interval cancers and program sensitivity
  • invasive breast cancer and ductal carcinoma in situ incidence
  • mortality.
