This report relates to the incidence of child sexual abuse on Anangu Pitjantjatjara Yankunytjatjara (APY) Lands, its nature, extent and consequences on the health and well-being of individuals and the community. It highlights the need to address problems that are rooted in the administrative and council bodies. It promotes the need for prevention and education programs, proposes measures to be implemented in order to prevent child sexual abuse and to enhance child welfare and protection. It includes 46 policy implementation recommendations and provides an assessment of its related effects on the community.
