This series of videos provide information about becoming a disability worker in community or town. They aim to teach people useful skills to help them care for familiy members who have a disability.
The videos focus on the following topics:
- care routines and plans
- dementia
- foot, skin, and nail care
- assisting clients with medication
- supporting positive lifestyles
- supporting personal care needs.
The title of the videos are:
- Care routines
- Care plans
- Love in the time of dementia (English and Anindilyakwa languages)
- The right way with medicines
- Fast cars! feet and nails!!
- Uncle Croc clean up
- Time to listen, time to change.
These videos were produced as a collaboration between Carpentaria Disability Services and isee-ilearn as part of the Disability stories project. They are linked to units of competency for the Australian Cetificate 3 in Disability.
