Canberra: Native Title Research Unit, Australian Institute for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Studies

This report explores the relationship between the land and the physical and social wellbeing of Indigenous Australians. It aims to provide an understanding of the importance of native title, the return of lands to Indigenous peoples and the ability to live or work on country, to health and wellbeing. The report recommends that the foundations for Indigenous health initiatives be based on the importance of country to Indigenous Australians.
