Still waiting to be heard… report on the Inquiry into the Hearing Health and Wellbeing of Australia
Canberra: Parliament of Australia

This report presents the findings of an inquiry into the hearing health of Australia, carried out by a parliamentary committee. It covers hearing impairment, balance disorders, current provision of treatment in Australia, the hearing health of at-risk populations, research and prevention of hearing loss, provision of hearing devices, and the future of hearing services in Australia. It includes an extensive section on otitis media and hearing loss in Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities. The report makes a number of recommendations, including three about Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander hearing health.
