Stories for keeping strong – Western Sydney
Melbourne: beyondblue
This short-film was developed to raise awareness about depression among urban Aboriginal communities. The short film is an animation that features a young Aboriginal man talking with two Elders, an Aunt, and his sister about depression. They discuss the signs of depression, the importance of family and community, and how to seek appropriate help. The film script was informed by a Story Development Group. The resource was the result of a collaboration between beyondblue, the Aboriginal Medical Service Western Sydney, and isee-ilearn.
