The Closing the Gap Clearinghouse

The Closing the Gap Clearinghouse provides access to a collection of quality information on good practice to overcome Indigenous disadvantage. The goal is to provide policy makers and program managers with evidence for achieving the Closing the Gap targets and related Indigenous reforms. The clearinghouse is a COAG initiative, jointly funded by all governments, and delivered by the Australian Institute of Health and Welfare in collaboration with Australian Institute of Family Studies.

The Clearinghouse Collection focuses on topics related to the COAG Building Blocks that underpin the Closing the Gap targets. The Building Blocks include:

• Early childhood;
• Economic participation;
• Governance and leadership;
• Health;
• Healthy homes;
• Safe communities; and
• Schooling.
