This short film has been produced to provide information to carers of people living with dementia in the Aboriginal community. The film features Birpai Elder, Uncle Bill O’Brien, discussing his experience of caring for his mother who had dementia. Professor Tony Broe of the Koori growing old well study also features in the film. The key message in the film is that dementia is not a normal part of ageing, and help is available.
