    The Telethon Institute for Child Health Research has released a new report showing that the pneumococcal vaccine program has contributed to ‘closing the gap’ in the levels of pneumonia between Indigenous children and non-Indigenous children in Australia.

    A preventative oral health project by the Menzies School of Health Research, Strong teeth for little kids, has been recognised as one of the best ten medical research projects in Australia by the National Health and Medical Research Council.

    On 1 July 2012, Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander health practitioners will join the national registration and accreditation scheme (the national scheme).
